How Hypnosis Can Help with Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is an extremely common condition, affecting approximately 30 million people in the United States alone. 

Why is ED so common? Well, one reason is that this condition can be caused by a wide range of factors, from Type 2 diabetes to prostate surgery to high blood pressure medication. 

Another common culprit of ED is psychological or emotional issues. If you believe a psychological element is at play with your ED, hypnosis could be very helpful. 

How Hypnosis Can Help with ED

Mental health issues such as depression and anxiety can do a real number on your confidence. Experiencing a flaccid penis during sex, can hurt your confidence even further, sending you into a vicious cycle of negative thinking. These days, it’s hard to stop thinking about work, kids, and all your other responsibilities even after the work day has ended and the kids are in bed. In the age of remote work, many of us don’t truly “end” the workday at all. We just take a few short breaks during the evening for things like dinner, and then we sit right back down with our laptops. 

Hypnosis trains your brain to stop thinking about these things at a certain point in your daily routine. When you finish your work for the day, work is out of your mind for the rest of the evening. 

There is nothing else to think about except what’s in front of you, like the love of your life. How they smell, how they feel, all the things that used to get pushed aside in favor of work or kids. That whole way of thinking can change with hypnosis.
