The hard truth behind ED supplements and medication

Erectile dysfunction affects millions of people every year.

We know there are a lot of causes of ED as well as potential fixes depending on the underlying root.

Today I wanted to explore some typical ED remedies, as well as some alternatives that may help address those ED symptoms.

Typical ED remedies

Erectile dysfunction (ED) can be caused by a number of different factors. You can, however, make some lifestyle changes that might help with your symptoms. Things like:

Stop smoking

Smoking damages your blood vessels. This can affect their ability to dilate and send blood to the penis for an erection.

Moderate or reduce stress levels

Stress, anxiety, etc. can be leading factors for ED. Finding positive coping methods or speaking with a trained professional can help alleviate some of the stress causing the ED.

Limit alcohol consumption

There’s a connection between alcohol consumption and ED. Limiting your alcohol intake may help in the short-term.

Medications

Prescription medications for ED are around. These include:

  • Sildenafil (Viagra)
  • Tadalafil (Cialis)
  • Avanafil (Stendra)
  • Vardenafil (Levitra, Staxyn)

These are prescription medications, so you’ll need to speak with a doctor before receiving them.

Alternative ED remedies

There are alternative ways to treat ED. Supplements, for example, have shown positive results in reducing ED symptoms. Some supplements that may help with ED symptoms include:

  • Vitamin D
  • Red ginseng
  • L-arginine
  • L-carnitine

While studies have shown positive results in addressing ED symptoms, it’s still important to speak with a medical professional before engaging with any of the supplements above.

But you should also speak with a professional about any emotional or psychological problems that may be affecting your ability to have and keep erections.

I help people suffering from ED feel like they can do something about their situation, as well as walk couples through the process together.

I can’t wait to work with you to rebuild the full breadth of your sex life.
